When they needed the impossible, Jim Brand came through for them.

Something wasn't right- and they didn't know where to turn

The Drapkins had been working with another Realtor but were having a difficult and frustrating experience. They had an agreement to buy a home in a 55+ community but everything seemed to be going wrong. Inspection after inspection brought nothing but trouble. It became a nightmare.

Their daughter Daniella saw the misery that her parents were having and went to the internet to search for an agent in the area. By a stroke of luck she landed on Jim Brand’s home page. She was at her wits end when she connected with Jim’s receptive ear.

Talking to Jim gave her a new sense of hope out of their mess.

Her mother suffers from a debilitating muscular disease. Time was not something they had a lot of. Daniella needed to move her parents from Asbury Park NJ as close to her home in Montgomeryville PA as soon as possible. She wanted to help with Mom’s care and take a load off her Dad.

They set out to find a 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath house with finished basement not more than 30 minutes away from her. A first floor master was a must so Mom could be comfortable. The biggest hurdle was finding one for their maximum price of $375000. They didn’t realize what a difficult path they were on.

Needing the impossible

Daniella explained what they were trying to accomplish. And in addition to their limit on what they could invest she dropped a nearly impossible deadline on him. Jim jumped into action even though she told him her parents were already working with someone and he had only 5 days to help prevent disaster.

He quickly searched everywhere in both Montgomery and Bucks counties without much luck. He e-mailed every top agent in the area asking for leads on new listings that might match what the Drapkins family needed.

By the fifth day Jim was only able to find one possible home other than the one they were already under agreement with but it was outside of their price range. Daniella thanked him for all the time and effort he put forth. She felt that he had gone way beyond anything that anyone else would have done.

And then they canceled the first deal.

Jim got a call back from Daniella telling him the deal was dead and now they were desperate to find a place ASAP if not sooner.

Jim called the sellers agent that had the perfect property but was overpriced and set the stage for his new clients, letting the agent know of their special needs for Patricia. The house was perfect except for the price. He believes “everything happens for a reason” and refused to let price get in the way. He worked towards making this house theirs.

Mission possible

After some tough negotiating back and forth a deal was struck at a price of… $375,000 their exact target. With his quick service and never quit attitude Jim easily won over their hearts and earned our gratitude.

An even happier ending

Jim operates in PA and NJ so after he proved himself getting them the house they needed, the Drapkins naturally gave him the listing for their home in Asbury Park. It was no surprise that it sold in 30 days.

Thanks to Jim Brand’s work ethic and caring for people, Daniella now has her Mom and Dad close by. Above and beyond is the best way to describe the service and friendship Jim Brand and Keller Williams Real Estate provided.
